Oh, Man!

Guess who's back? (2Pac is back)

I lied. It's me. Sorry, I know you've missed me.

Bre I would like to apologize I didn't have more blogs for you to read. I'll try and get on here more often.

Anyone else like music (+1 it, if you will)? I sure do. There are so many music applications out that I adore. I really don't heart radio but I do heart the IHeartRadio app because of the customization. Pandora also fills my living room air quite frequently.

Don't some people just piss you off? I love humans and I've always been fascinated with why we are the way we are and why we do the things we do. It's all fun and games until people do stupid stuff. Why are some people mean? Why do some people hurt other people? Why can't we just all get along? I love my friends, I love my family and I hate when people aren't nice to them. They have no excuse. My friends and family only deserve the best treatment. I know I've had my own moments of being a jerk but overall I would say my parents raised a pretty compassionate person. I just wish that we would learn from our mistakes as a race and try and work toward a better future for everyone.

It's cold here.

That's the end of my randomness for today.

Spring Fever

Hey friends!

Spring is here! Time to get happy and start seeing the sun again. How I've missed my friend the sun for the past 5 months. It feels good again to leave my house without having to be bundled up. The only problem is now I have fewer pockets to put my stuff in.

My BlackBerry had a specific pocket, my iPod and headphones another, wallet one more, and keys in another, with more pockets to spare for any other miscellaneous things I had to carry around. Now I'm limited to my 4 pants pockets; 3 of which are really the only plausible options. Now when I leave my place I have to tighten my belt since my pants seem to weigh more because of my accessories. I also have to constantly check that my keys aren't scratching my iPod screen. Keeps me busy and my brain working.

And something I can definitely live with as long as the weather is nice. And once I can wear shorts I will again have an overabundance of pockets, I just have to learn which accessory will go in which pocket.

Enjoy it! Be warm, be merry, and be tan!

It's Been a While

Let's see, what can I write about?

Something that has been bugging me is the lack of people's parking skills as soon as snow covers the ground. I understand you may be a little off when parking "between the lines" or that the angle may not be exactly right, but there is no reason that cars shouldn't be in a straight line. How do people not know that you pull up as far as the car next to you? When I drive down the isle, there is no reason that I should have to turn my wheel to miss cars.

I just don't get some people. If stupid people weren't driving I also wouldn't have had to hit my brakes and swerve to miss some moron who thought he had plenty of time to turn in front of me...when in fact, anyone in their right mind, could have known otherwise.

Sorry this turned out to be a venting post, but I think everyone that is a fairly decent driver shares in my pain.

No Need to be Naïve, Google's There

http://www.google.com/

Check out that site. Come on people. A trending topic on Twitter right now is "RIP Johnny Depp" and before anyone does ANY research on it they are sucked right into the TT and start saying things like "Johnny Depp is dead? Is this a joke?"

Stop by the link posted above, search "Johnny Depp." The first article that shows up is titled "Johnny Depp died in car crash? No, Depp's in France." Read the article and you will see how Craig's List founder talks about how this is what annoys him most on the internet. And me too. Maybe that means I should be a millionaire CEO, but that's another story.

Take a second, go to Google and find out some information for yourself. The internet is so full of useful stuff (and a whole lot more BS, but us intellectuals should be able to sort through that I hope, right?). I love Google. Whenever I have something that I need to know the answer for, e.g. what exactly constitutes "public intoxication," my good friend Google is right there to help me out. When I need to find the origin of the word "touché," Google is right there to never fail me.

This is the Information Age. Also the BS Age. I think that we can for together and be remembered for the former. Use the tools that are available to you before you jump to any conclusions. Please. And Thanks.

Welcome to the Inside of My Head

Heyo!

Just wanted to officially get my Blog underway and post something. There isn't going to be anything to mind-boggling today, so rest easy my weary readers (all zero of you).

Just woke up early today and am watching a show on Green Beret training. The stuff these guys go through on the first day alone is just insane. I really respect anyone that can endure what these guys have to. Only the best to get these soldiers in shape to fight for our country. Much love and respect to these men and all the men and women fighting to protect the way of life that I probably take for granted much more than I'm willing to admit.

With that, take time today and say a prayer for our soldiers. We recently had another soldier die in Iraq. Although it wasn't combat related, it is still a tragedy. Pray for his family, friends and squad members.

Also take time to appreciate what you have in your life: your parents, your friends and even your coworkers.

Hang on for the ride, and I warn you in advance - some posts may make you use your head.
